About the Role:

This role is intended for an undergraduate student wanting to spend a year in industry. The role is to work alongside our Consultants sourcing individuals from our own networks and our register of candidates. You will screen potential candidates to meet our client specifications and manage individual client interview programmes. In addition, participate in regular internal meetings with colleagues and work on firm-wide business development initiatives.

We provide a structured induction and ongoing training programme to ensure you learn both the fundamentals of the private equity industry and our own internal systems and processes in an effective and systematic manner


A high level of personal presentation and determination is vital with responsibilities including the following:

  • Sourcing candidates and initiating contact by telephone from recommendations / internet
  • Building long term relationships with candidates in relevant industries
  • Mapping candidate pools from relevant companies
  • Compiling contact lists from database and internet searches
  • Managing administration and logistics of assignments
  • Database inputting and information gathering

Requirements:

  • Strong academics, on track for a good Bachelor’s degree
  • Impeccable telephone manner and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to contacting and building relationships with candidates
  • Personal discipline and confidence in following up leads
  • Some understanding of financial markets with enthusiasm to learn the detail quickly
  • High standards with immaculate attention to detail
  • Organised and methodical with good computer skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Valid UK work permit
