About the Role:

A unique opportunity for two exceptional Sheffield University placement students to join an entrepreneurial sales consultancy based in the City of London. Working alongside a highly experienced team, you will be joining a growing business where you will be given a unique insight into how a company is run whilst learning a variety of skills that will have a real impact for any future career.

As a placement student, you will be tasked with a variety of roles from sales, negotiating and managing projects, meeting clients, social media, interviewing prospective employees and managing budgets. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing essential consulting skills through on-the-job experience, training and self-development
• Building strong relationships with current clients
• Generation of new clients
• The art of successful negotiating
• Advertising and how to make it effective
• Client Meetings – presentation, structure and results
• How to lead an interview
• Talent Spotting – how to search, attract and sell
• Market Mapping
• Managing budgets and measuring performance

Requirements:

• Confident individual with determination to succeed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to interact effectively with clients and candidates and build relationships.
• An excellent academic record, on track for a 2.1 from a reputable university
