About the Role:

At NFU Mutual, we understand the importance of developing strong relationships. We are looking for aspiring graduates to join our Finance Division at our Head Office, based in Stratford upon Avon, as part of our Professional Trainee Scheme.

During your time on the scheme you will gain experience of the following areas:

  • Financial Reporting & Control
  • Planning, Partnering & Analysis
  • Shared Services

Our Finance Professional Trainee Scheme is designed to give you both hands-on practical experience and focused technical know-how, to equip you with a balanced combination of soft and technical skills to become competent and successful

  • On top of this, we will support you through your professional accountancy qualifications of either CIMA or ACCA
  • You will also get a full corporate induction, along with a tailored local induction programme with your own coach and mentor from a previous scheme

We will be with you every step of the way as you develop your career with NFU Mutual.

Requirements:

We are looking for people who:

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong numerical skills and have an analytical and logical skill set
  • Are self-motivated and able to work within tight deadlines
  • Have the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Work effectively both in teams and independently when needed
  • Are keen to develop, learn new skills and actively participate in our Professional Trainee programme
  • Build and maintain effective relationships
  • Have a positive attitude and plenty of ambition and drive to add value
  • You will have obtained, or be predicted to obtain a 2:1 or above in a relevant degree
