About the Role:

This position is with the Power Tools Division of a German Auto Parts Group (Fortune 500 Company) at its Chengdu branch. The Power Tools Division of the Group is the world market leader for power tools and power tool accessories. In 2012, its global workforce generated sales of 4.0 billion euros, 90 percent of which outside of Germany.

The core success factors are innovative strength and pace of innovation. Each year, this Division launches more than 100 new products onto the market. The division generated about 40 percent of its sales in 2012 with products that have been on the market for less than two years. The business segments electric power tools, accessories, measuring tools and garden tools of this Division outperformed the market.

Job responsibilities:

• Provide HR service, including employee development / training, and performance
• Assist HR business partner as well as associates regarding HR activities. Such as:
  • Support HR business partner in training
  • Support HR business partner in employee activities
  • Support HR business partner in projects, such as competence management
  • Personnel file management
  • Other tasks related to HR.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field
• Good communication and interpersonal skills required
• Good ability to handle conflicts
• Able to work under pressure and work independently
• Proficient in using office software.
