Unfortunately, technical sailing equipment can be complicated to buy with multiple products required to make up even a relatively simple system. Upffront aims to bring together all the information required to help you make an educated and confident purchase, based on a choice of quality performance products.

About the Role:

As an internet business, trying to disrupt the established distribution model in a very niche field, we see little value in employing experienced industry professionals. We are actively trying to change the way people do business in the marine sector and therefore, with the Directors extensive technical knowledge to fall back on, we intend to grow a young team from the ground up. There will be opportunities for management roles for any individuals showing the drive, enthusiasm and ability to lead others as the business grows. We are actively looking for a graduate marketer to start immediately.

Requirements:

Experience & Education

• Recently completed, a degree or master’s degree in marketing

o The business is primarily focussed on digital marketing

o However, candidates from broader marketing disciplines are welcome to apply

• Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Web literate
• Excellent written English

Personal Attributes

• Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter
• Takes initiative and can work alone or in a small team
• Organised, accurate but fast worker, with close attention to detail
• Good people skills

o We are looking for employees who share that passion

o Therefore, we are looking for marketers who are experienced sailors

• Upffront will develop as a multilingual site

o However, the focus for the next 2 years is to develop the core site and product offering with English as our primary language

o Therefore, English as a first language is essential for this role
