About the Role:

There is an exciting and brand-new graduate-level opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst. In this role you will help to provide data-driven insights that will inform business and product strategy, and most importantly have a significant positive impact on our customers.

Job Purpose and Key Tasks:

To drive insights and intelligent use of data within the company. This will include but not be limited to creating tools and dashboards that break down the key drivers of product performance in interpretable and actionable ways; helping to define KPIs and end-to-end customer flows; driving performance against the KPIs, surfacing insights, supporting tactical decisions and influencing the product design strategy with a compelling evidenced-based view.

  • Lead a collaborative problem-solving process to define meaningful, relevant and easily understood KPIs around product performance
  • Build end-to-end product dashboards that bring these metrics to life
  • Help develop and maintain our business intelligence tools by adding new metrics in line with emerging areas of business interest and product development
  • Analyse changes in product usage and performance to generate insights and communicate these to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with others to carry out experiments that aim to improve product performance
  • Present insights and opportunities in a clear manner such that product design is based on objective evidence wherever possible
  • Analyse data to support or disprove hypothesis around new or existing feature ideas that could translate into real business value
  • Collaborate with other team members to better understand user behaviour through experimentation and testing. Provide support on A/B and multivariate testing and other best-practice analytical techniques during the feature development process
  • Identify data tracking requirements to enable accurate reporting / measurement. Work with our developers to ensure date is arcuate and manageable.

Requirements:

  • A high level of mathematical ability:
    • Ability to analyse, model and interpret data
    • Problem-solving skills
    • A methodical and logical approach
  • Ability to work with raw data using SQL or similar query language or tools for data manipulation
  • Strong data wrangling skills. Able to work with data from different sources and adapt to new technologies
  • A deep understanding of cohort analysis, funnels, A/B testing, multivariate testing, lifetime value, user segments and other standard analytical techniques
  • A good technical understanding of web based tracking tools
