The Company Chemists’ Association (CCA) is the trade association for large pharmacy operators in England, Scotland and Wales. Our members include ASDA, Boots, LloydsPharmacy, Morrisons, Rowlands Pharmacy, Superdrug, Tesco and Well, who between them own and operate over 6,000 pharmacies, around half the UK market.

About the Role:

Are you a budding communicator looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and deliver engaging content? We’re recruiting a Communications and Engagement Officer to join the Company Chemists’ Association (CCA) to help tell the story of our members’ work.

You will have the opportunity to make your mark through a range of projects, particularly developing an intranet for a network of local representatives. We’ll support you to develop your media relations skills. You’d be working as part of a small team of policy and public affairs experts to help deliver our ambitious business plan.

Requirements:

We need someone with excellent writing, project management and people skills for a new role, which will involve regular contact with senior clinicians and leaders from across healthcare and parliament. The successful candidate will develop engaging content for our local representatives who help influence the way health services are run in their area.
