Creative Access was founded in 2012 to provide opportunities for paid internships in the creative industries for young people of graduate (or equivalent standard) from under-represented black, Asian and other non-white minority ethnic backgrounds (BAME). They are giving undergraduates and graduates the opportunity to join their fast-moving newsroom as a News Intern in Summer 2019. In this brilliant paid internship, you will have the opportunity to gain hands on reporting experience. From graphics to TV, to written articles on the Bloomberg Terminal, you will have the chance to collaborate across platforms to deliver critical information to their clients.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience and/or demonstrated interest in journalism through work experience or extracurricular activities
  • Fluency in a foreign language is a plus, but not required
  • A passion for global financial markets, companies and economies
  • True curiosity in understanding the world around you
  • Not put off by digging into complex subjects
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to break news
  • Ability to get access, win exclusive interviews, find documents/data
  • Ability to write
  • Minimum two years of undergraduate study completed
  • Availability to work for 10 weeks, 45 hours per week, beginning 1st July 2019
