About the Role:

As a Data Analytics Auditor you will be part of the Group Internal Audit Department, responsible for providing independent assurance to the Group’s Audit Committee.

As part of your role will be required to extract, manipulate and analyse large quantities of data for both internal and external stakeholders. This will include providing insight, facilitating trend analysis and supporting the wider audit team in validating data quality effectively. The individual will also have the opportunity to define and introduce automated and repeatable analytics.

We are looking for aspiring graduates with a relevant numerical and/or research based degree to join our Data Analytics Auditor Graduate Scheme.

You must:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong technical and numerical skills, and logical thought processes
  • Be self-motivated and able to work within tight deadlines
  • Have an enquiring and analytical mind
  • Be keen to develop, learn new skills and actively participate in our Graduate programme
  • Be able to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Have a positive attitude and plenty of ambition and drive to add value

Requirements:

  • Have an understanding of using SQL to extract information
  • Have an understanding of programming languages e.g. Visual Basic
  • Have an understanding of data visualisation tools e.g. Power BI
  • Require relevant numerical and/or research based degree
