Investment Trends develops and delivers independent, deep insights research on behaviours, buying preferences and future needs of investors and intermediaries for some of the largest financial services organisations across Australia, Asia, the US, UK, and continental Europe. About the Role:

This is an entry-level, but high growth role in a prestigious boutique market research firm with global coverage. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the financial services industry, at ease with manipulating large scale datasets and confident of their ability to effectively communicate at C-suite level.

Working within a highly skilled team and surrounded by like-minded and dynamic individuals, you will be given responsibility for specific activities early on and will report to one of our Sydney-based Research Directors.

The role includes:

  • Using statistical software and other tools to create charts, analyse industry trends, examine patterns and draw insightful conclusions.
  • Writing industry reports used by leading global financial organisations to derive strategic business insights.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and develop industry knowledge by attending report presentations and industry conferences.
  • Contributing to innovation of our internal processes and product development, as your industry knowledge grows.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated, independent, high achieving individual, with a passion for analysis and communication of data-driven strategic insights. You have recently graduated with a degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. commerce, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, computing or market research).

High academic performance (2.1 or higher) and the right to work and reside in the UK are both essential.
