Offer an internship or project and recruit a Postgraduate student for 100 hours.

The 2019 scheme is now closed but will open again later this year for the 2020 internships.

What is the Postgraduate Advantage Scheme (PAS)?

The Postgraduate Advantage Scheme (PAS) is open to charities, public sector organisations and SMEs. By offering a project through the scheme, you can recruit a PAS intern to work with you for 100 hours. The University of Sheffield will provide a bursary of £1000, payable directly to the student.

Host organisations must be either:

  • A small commercial firm – this means that they have less than 250 employees and a turnover of no more than 25.9 million
  • A public sector organisation
  • A charity
  • A social enterprise
