The business of brewing: London alumni network

We have a vibrant alumni network around the world, and our London based alumni are no exception! Graduates from the Management School as well as from the School of Law and Department of Economics enjoyed an evening hearing all about the business of brewing hosted at local Battersea brewers Mondo Brewery, as well as networking, and the chance to try some of the local beers.

Our Sheffield Alumni in London Network is now in its third year. Each event welcomes new faces to the group, as well as those who attend more regularly, but most importantly, all are eager to meet other like-minded graduates living in London.

The latest event in March proved popular as ever with over 40 alumni and friends enjoying an evening of beer tasting, networking and pizza! Mondo Brewery is home to one of London’s newest breweries, and their accommodating Director and Head Brewer Thomas Palmer was more than happy to let us into their premises for the evening. Thomas Gill, Managing Director at Stancill Brewery Sheffield, and Economics alumnus 2012, was also invited to give an insight into the brewing trade of Sheffield.
