More about our MBA programme at Sheffield:
Sheffield University Management School is in the global elite of business schools worldwide due to Triple Crown accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS – an honour that has been bestowed on fewer than 100 business schools worldwide. Only 24 universities are members of the UK’s prestigious Russell Group. We’re one of them. This means you will be taught by the Management School’s high calibre, research-active academics and benefit from cutting-edge knowledge. In recent years, we’ve been Times Higher Education’s UK University of the Year (2011) and UK Number 1 for Student Experience (2014-15). In 2015 we joined their prestigious list of the World’s Top 100 Universities.
We have strong relationships with a broad range of businesses and professional associations such as the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Beta Gamma Sigma. Our professional links will provide you with easy access to a wide group of organisations and career opportunities.
Using practical insight gained from our own research and case studies, our programmes tackle real-life business issues enabling you to suggest and apply your own practical business solutions. Further enriching your corporate exposure is a complete programme of evening and guest lectures, specialist networking events and opportunities throughout the year, delivered by experts and highly-acclaimed practitioners from our thriving network of alumni and business partners.
Sheffield University Management School is one of the University’s flagship buildings. With the latest teaching facilities, its own café and Employability Hub and outdoor space, there are many opportunities to expand on your studies outside of the lecture theatre.
You will be taught in an executive suite in the Management School building, which was refurbished in 2013. The suite features an executive lecture theatre, The Middleton, seating 80 people, fitted with contemporary communications technology including microphones and media sockets at each desk. It is also just a 10-15 minute walk from the heart of the university campus, the Information Commons and most university and private accommodation.
