The 'Balladins Superior Hotel Mannheim' is in the heart of Mannheim and offers a double-room apartment, shared with another participant, with a fully-equipped kitchenette, or a single room, and includes breakfast. The hotel can be reached via public transportation (www.vrn.de) within 10 minutes by taking line 1, 3 or 5 in front of the train station to "Paradeplatz". From there it is just a 5-minute walk.

Participants attending this Summer School programme should have a good command of English and proof of English language skills which will be sent to the Mannheim Summer School Manager with your application documents. Mannheim University will accept all major tests (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC).
If you are from a non-European country you will need to apply for a Schengen visa. You will be given help, support and advice on how to apply for the visa. Further details can be found here.
