The lectures provided are really professional and helpful for entrepreneurship. The cultural activities and company visits in two afternoons are quite interesting as we can explore the cities nearby and gain an insight to German culture and German manufacturing industries.

Study periods:

15 - 19 June 2020 - Module 1: Sustainability and Ecological Awareness
22 - 26 June 2020 - Module 2: Entrepreneurship and Innovation
29 June - 3 July 2020 - Module 3: Introduction to the World of Big Data and Analytics

Programme and accommodation fees (payment deadline 15 April 2020):

  • €1,690 (for 1 week)

The 'Balladins Superior Hotel Mannheim' is in the heart of Mannheim and offers a double-room apartment, shared with another participant, with a fully-equipped kitchenette, or a single room, and includes breakfast. The hotel can be reached via public transportation (www.vrn.de) within 10 minutes by taking line 1, 3 or 5 in front of the train station to "Paradeplatz". From there it is just a 5-minute walk.

Participants attending this Summer School programme should have a good command of English and proof of English language skills which will be sent to the Mannheim Summer School Manager with your application documents. Mannheim University will accept all major tests (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC).

If you are from a non-European country you will need to apply for a Schengen visa. You will be given help, support and advice on how to apply for the visa. Further details can be found here.
