How can we help you?

Drop-ins and appointments

We encourage students to drop-in during opening times with your employability queries and to access our resources from the Hub.

Find vacancies

We can help you to find the right opportunities through Hub Headlines, Twitter, Career Connect and more.

Skills sessions from the Hub

The Employability Hub provides a range of skills programmes and resources designed to help you improve your employability potential.

Getting the most out of your degree

Futures First Employability Programme

To help you manage your employability development over the course of your study time, we have put together an outline of activities that take place over the year.

Placements and internships

As well as gaining your degree, we want you to be equipped to enter the jobs market or take on further education, upon graduation. We encourage students at all levels to gain practical experience, where possible, during your degree.

Company projects

Some Masters students are offered the opportunity to take on company dissertation projects. A company project enables you to structure your dissertation around a particular issue or challenge set by the host organisation.

Professional memberships

Many of our programmes carry additional accreditations from world-leading professional bodies, which may be beneficial to you, depending on your career aspirations.

Futures First Global

With students from over 30 countries, Sheffield University Management School celebrates its diversity by providing and supporting a stimulating global learning environment.
