About the Role:

Lasting for 20 months, our Supply Chain Management Graduate Development Programme will immerse you in real projects, ensuring you gain invaluable hands-on experience. Your programme will vary depending on your interests and our business needs, but as a minimum it will include three placements. That will be in addition to three months spent designing supply chains across different business sectors, including Civil and Defence Aerospace, Nuclear, Power Systems and Marine. You'll be guided by your graduate development consultant and career coach to complete your placements, which will be focused on rounding out your understanding and experience. And as well as receiving first-class training and support, you'll learn from some of the most respected and highly qualified professionals in our business.

As well as getting qualified in methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, you'll work on real projects that will give you exposure across the full supply chain. As part of that, you'll take on roles like Materials Resource Planning Controller, Supply Chain Designer or Master Scheduler. You could find yourself taking responsibility for bringing in the right mix of materials at the right time, creating logistics plans for our repair network or owning the journey of a £200,000 part from one end of the value stream to the next. You'll learn how to tackle bottlenecks, see how new products are put into production and develop an understanding of how everything we do is driven by our customers. All in all, it's an amazing way to gain a strategic overview of our business and discover how different teams work together to deliver on an international scale.

Requirements:

We're looking for analytically-driven graduates; people who are data and detail-orientated. You'll have a good level of numeracy along with exceptional relationship management and leadership abilities - you're someone who knows how to earn trust and inspire respect. Academically, you'll either have or be on course for a 2:1 degree, or an equivalent qualification. Inquisitive and resourceful, you'll never be short of ideas about how we can do things even better.
