About the Role:

Our intern scheme runs for a period of four to six weeks each summer and provides a unique and valuable insight into the workings of a Top 20 accountancy firm.

Entering a new workforce for a temporary period can be a daunting experience, however we will not only make sure you feel welcomed but we will fully integrate you into the firm, giving you a full induction to help you acclimatise and feel comfortable as soon as you begin.

As an intern you will be partnered with a dedicated mentor whose job it is to ensure your placement is both enjoyable and challenging. During your placement you will benefit from a bookkeeping course, as well as exposure to a number of teams and departments.

After your placement should you wish to pursue in a career in accountancy you will have the opportunity to consider the firm’s graduate positions where three-year training contracts are available across all our offices with a view to becoming an ACA/CA qualified accountant.

Requirements:

We seek people with initiative; people who are collaborative teamworkers, natural communicators and able problem-solvers. Above all, we seek people who are motivated by providing the highest level of client service.

You must be in your penultimate year of your degree programme, expecting at least a 2:1 in any discipline and at least 300 UCAS points, or equivalent, gained at one sitting. Plus excellent GSCE results with a minimum grade B in English and Maths.
