About the role:

The Social Entrepreneurship Internship will give you the opportunity to gain insights into the social entrepreneurship landscape in Sri Lanka, and also work with our partner organisation to increase awareness around social impact, helping grow the social enterprise ecosystem in the country.

Our partner organisation’s vision is to have a “thriving social enterprise sector in Sri Lanka by 2025.” They are one of the leading ecosystem builders of the country’s social enterprise sector of Sri Lanka and run a number of impactful initiatives which engage not only local Sri Lankans but also the government. They are looking for a passionate individual interested in promoting social change, to join their team and help drive this change in Sri Lanka.

As a social entrepreneurship intern, you will work closely with the core team and support with the delivery of social enterprise training sessions and workshops in Sri Lanka. You will also help organise Sri Lanka’s official Social Enterprise awards ceremony and get to connect with, support and learn from social entrepreneurs and innovators.

This internship will also give you the opportunity to liaise with their core social enterprise partners in Sri Lanka and assist with partner relationship management. The personal and professional development gained through this internship will leave you feeling inspired, and ready to pursue opportunities in the social impact or the social business space.
