About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be analytically-strong, passionate about radio and media and able to ensure deliverables are consistently high quality and delivered in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with salespeople to ensure Commercial Insight team deliverables are enhancing agency/client relationships and driving the business forward
- To provide compelling narratives for a commercial audience to use Bauer Media through innovative audience insight
- Work with the team to deliver regular market intelligence across the business
- Use research and market information creatively to support any on-going sales & research projects
- Design and create primary research to uncover and investigate business critical questions
- Involvement in ad-hoc research and audience led projects as required to support the strategic commercial goals of the business
- Interrogate existing research sources to provide commercial insight
Requirements:
- At least 12 months’ experience in market research is desirable, particularly if with a media owner, media agency or market research agency
- Basic understanding of quantitative research and questionnaire design
- Appreciation of an array of ad hoc research techniques
- Exceptionally numerate and articulate with ability to analyse, interpret and present data creatively – high attention to detail is expected
- Able to see tasks through from start to finish
- An analytical thinker with an enquiring mind
- Confident communicator who is able to deal with people at all levels internally and externally
- Have a flexible approach and ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team and demonstrate innovation and lateral thinking
- Basic understanding of industry surveys and key systems is strongly valued (eg. TGI, NRS/Pamco, RAJAR, ComScore, Telmar, AdDynamix, Hitwise, Mediatel, Mintel, nVision, Qualtrics)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
