About the Role:

We have a number of exciting entry level routes for Graduates at Close Brothers.
We strive to offer you experience in your particular area quickly and you will have the opportunity to study towards a qualification, either a professional diploma in banking or an accreditation relevant to your chosen business area.

This role is a long term career opportunity. You will start with rotations in each of the different business functions to get an understanding of the loan cycle, with a view to progressing to a front office role.

Initially training will be in-house as there is no better way to learn than following a loan from the first customer meeting through the due diligence process, the building work and then sale and repayment. There will also be opportunities to take external courses as progress is made and you will be financially supported to achieve relevant Banking qualifications. We would be particularly interested in graduates from banking, business, finance or surveying degree backgrounds.

Requirements:

Academically we are looking for applicants with at least a 2:1 degree. We are open to degrees in all disciplines. We look for passionate people, with curiosity and an eagerness to learn. We are keen to hear from people who are commercially aware, and that have a genuine interest in working in the financial industry.

We’d also like to see evidence of personal drive and ambition; people who have the resilience to excel within a challenging and fast paced environment will enjoy working at Close Brothers.
