What you'll be doing:
The members of our teams often say that there’s no typical day in the life of the Procurement Management & Supply Chain professional. We touch every kind of project, so you might find yourself doing in-depth spend reviews, building sourcing strategies, supporting supplier innovation days, identifying value chain opportunities, conducting supplier performance reviews, supporting bid teams, or involved in other functional activities. Whatever the activity is, it will be challenging and will make a difference – supporting the business and servicing our customers.
What you'll get out of it:
You’ll work on projects across our organisation, developing a deep understanding of the diverse businesses whilst building a well-rounded skillset for the years to come. Every step of the way, you’ll be mentored and supported towards gaining professional accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). And while you’re on the programme, you’ll enjoy a competitive starting salary of £28k-£30k.*
What you'll need:
You’ll need a minimum of a 2:1 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and demonstrable interest in Procurement or Supply Chain. Naturally, you’ll be ambitious and a self-starting individual who enjoys the challenges of a fast-paced and complex environment. You’ll need good interpersonal skills, the ability to drive change and results, plus a clear potential for inspiring others. Join us and you’ll find we expect a great deal from our people.
