About the Role:

During this one year placement, you will work closely with all departments of the business helping to bring new product designs to the market. Successful applicants will gain first-hand experience in the procurement processes, from negotiations to the contract agreement for European and Global business.

Roles Available:

  • Procurement Assistant for Caps & Plastic Assemblies - A European role which focuses on the management of contracts through a variety of databases, cost modelling, tender analysis, negotiations of new business, and liaising with suppliers to ensure Unilever’s exacting standards for quality and ethical practices are maintained by all.
  • Procurement Assistant for Injection Moulds - A global role which focuses on the negotiation and purchase of new injection moulds from international mould makers to produce new cap designs for Unilever’s prestigious brands. The role involves running supplier tenders, managing your own global innovation projects and working with purchasing software.
  • Procurement Assistant for European Bottles - A role which manages the Foods category portfolio through strategy, supplier management and supplier negotiation. Includes responsibility in coordinating current bottle supply as well as supporting innovation projects ensuring all suppliers liaise with Unilever standards.
