About the Role:

As our Marketing Assistant, you will work across all areas of our marketing function, contributing to the overall brand, image and tone of Pricecheck. Supporting our Marketing and Communications Manager to execute the marketing strategy, you will be involved in communications throughout the business, both internally and externally.

You will take responsibility for our social media presence, being able to identify the current online trends and maximise opportunities over the various platforms, having a strong understanding of the benefits and audiences of each one in turn. You will liaise with external companies in relation to branded marketing materials, our charitable partners and help to co-ordinate and organise our presence at various trade shows, both overseas and here in the UK. You’ll also be a key contact for administrative queries within the marketing team. In order to fully understand operations here at Pricecheck, you will also spend time covering the Sales Support team when required, gaining a true, working appreciation of how marketing impacts different areas of the business.

Given that our placements are 15 months long, you will be learning the ropes from our current placement students and graduates, and then becoming the mentor and pass on your knowledge and experience to the students who then follow on from you in the next placement year.

Requirements:

Following an in depth induction where you will spend time with all areas of the business, you will work alongside the Business Development team to get to know our systems, processes, product and industry as part of your on the job training.

You will think creatively yet commercially, working to deadlines and confident in making thoughtful suggestions.
