Role Purpose

This role is created to maximise the contact between the customer and Aggreko so orders are closed and opportunities created, whilst the external sales team are actively seeking new opportunities. The internal sales person will work as part of a small team comprising 3-4 external salesmen, and manage opportunities and orders created within that team. The aim is to create more time for external sales to produce new, value added business and revenue growth.

As Aggreko have a large proportion of infrequent and lapsed accounts (x customers), the IS will be responsible for routinely contacting them to create opportunities and make Aggreko the first choice should a requirement appear. This will create time for the external salesman to focus on value added customers and new sales.

Requirements

  • Good basic secondary education, with Mathematics and English GCSE or equivalent qualification to C grade or above

What you'll get out of it

What you'll need

For most of our business management programmes, you’ll need at least a 2:2 degree in a related subject and in some cases a 2:1 degree in a related subject. We’ll also be looking for the ability to analyse problems and create solutions, together with strong relationship-building skills and a proactive, hands-on approach. You’ll also need to satisfy the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD’s) security requirements (and may need to complete a medical assessment).
