About the Role:

If you are committed to supporting women in the workforce and want to work in an innovative and nurturing team, then this the role for you. The Marketing intern will help with marketing and digital promotion, especially on social media platforms. There is ample scope to make the role your own, and innovate through technology, social media and other creative ideas.

The successful candidate will gain lots of experience, support and opportunities either to grow with The Pipeline or to find a permanent opportunity elsewhere through their extensive network. This is the perfect role for a resilient self-starter with an optimistic outlook, willing to learn and contribute ideas.

What you will learn:

  • Excellent networking skills
  • How to conduct interviews and write up as case studies
  • How to promote research findings via social media
  • Ability to synthesise large amounts of information into a few bullet points
  • Liaison with public and private sector at high level

Responsibilities:

  • Produce text for leaflets and press releases
  • Conduct interviews and write up into case studies
  • Liaison with clients
  • Update website
  • Take photographs, film people speaking and successfully upload all media content to the website
  • Research and write reports

Requirements:

  • Some experience of working on marketing campaigns required
  • Excellent writing and communication skills (qualification in English language is desirable)
  • Have a friendly and outgoing persona
  • Good understanding of social media platforms such as Linkedin and Twitter
  • Experience of conducting interviews in any capacity is desirable
  • Be keen to learn and absorb new skills
  • Ability to use camera equipment for photograph and film capture
  • Be able to work accurately and meet deadlines
