With their work localised into more than 30 languages touching over 60 countries, Channel is often a customer’s first experience with Apple, and sometimes – their only experience: think O2, John Lewis, Fnac, EE, to name only a few of their partners. Apple’s Channel partners account for a considerable proportion of sales in Western Europe. The Partner Communications (PC) team is an extremely important part of the European Channel function.

About the Role:

They are creating the exciting new role of a Junior Project Manager to help and support the team in their day to day operations. The successful candidate will support the two PC Leads on their respective markets (FR and UK) and in the execution of Partners’ work as well as provide organisational and administrative support. They will have the chance to liaise with Apple’s partners across Europe as well as launch and track new campaigns.

This role will require a marketing-savvy individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and liaise with clients and partners on a daily basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to learn and develop key skills whilst building a deeper understanding of Apple’s impact on the local consumer.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Provide support to the Partner Communications team across the European Channel function
  • Support the Partner Communications Manager (PCM) with the “secondary” partners’ campaigns execution
  • Review and approve partners’ work on Meeting Room
  • Set up a kit of reporting tools for the team to distribute and share the work
  • Follow-up and track the progress of new campaigns
  • Collate and share intelligence with internal stakeholders
  • Build case studies with information provided by PCMs
  • Attend and provide minutes of internal meetings (WWPC, XF etc.)
  • Monitor and update internal tracking systems such as CAP, DGs reports, AMFT etc.

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

  • Exposure to or experience in marketing communications, ideally from leading consumer electronics or telecoms manufacturers, or affiliate marketing agencies
  • Experience or interest in integrated communications and account/client relationship management
  • Experience working within a recognised creative/design-driven organisation is a strong plus
  • A highly detail-oriented team player with persuasive/negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of marketing and channel environments and curious about trends and future developments in this area
  • Great organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Able to think quickly and manage multiple priorities under time pressure

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree preferred (Marketing/Communications/Sales)
