About the Role:

During your time with us, you will support both the Strategy Development and Commercial Planning and Performance teams through carrying out responsibilities such as:

• Preparing and providing input to regular market intelligence and business performance reports for senior management
• Supporting the development of commercial strategy and business plans through trend and data analysis
• Performing research and providing analysis and insights on our customers and competitors to support business development and bids for major contracts
• Reviewing key business databases and documents to help ensure information management is efficient, effective and appropriately controlled
• Supporting the use and improvement of key business processes and tools to ensure accurate and up to date information is available for analysis

Requirements:

• We look for applicants who are studying for a business, finance or marketing related degree and are competent in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications together with the ability to utilise internet tools for research activities.
• Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and creative, combining excellent literacy and numeracy skills with self-confidence, and the ability to both work as part of a team and to communicate effectively at all levels. To succeed you need to be well organised, self-motivated and able to take responsibility for your own workload, including planning and prioritising to meet deadlines.
• Although no specific experience is required, please provide details of any work experience you have to date, together with the relevant personal qualities you have developed through extra-curricular activities.
