About the Role:

The size and

structure of the department are such that the successful applicant will have exposure to all areas of our business and to a wide variety of facets of the HR function. The duties and responsibilities outlined below are therefore not exclusive, and other ad hoc tasks and projects will arise.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with recruitment activities - creating sifting and interview packs, liaising with recruiting managersAssisting with the review of departmental processes and procedures
  • Liaising with and supporting immediate HR colleagues on departmental projects and initiatives
  • Maintaining HR database
  • Maintenance of e-files
  • Intranet maintenance of HR pages
  • Providing general administrative support for both HR and Training activities

Requirements:

  • Working towards a degree in HR/Business Studies qualification
  • Keen to learn general HR and business skills
  • Good attention to detail, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the business and with the utmost discretion
  • Able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own
  • Works well within a team environment with an open and friendly nature
  • German language skills are desirable but by no means essential
  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook

This is a role that adds real value to the HR Department and will have visibility across the UK business. We are therefore looking to appoint an individual keen to develop and demonstrate his or her skills and experience and really make the most of this opportunity.
