About the Role:

These eleven-month placements are for students who need to complete a placement as part of their degree. You could sit a selection of professional accounting exams and leave with a graduate job offer to fast track into a second year role upon graduation. You'll work alongside graduate trainees and experienced professionals on everyday projects. So you'll get a good insight into working life at PwC.

Internal Firm Services business area is responsible for providing generalist HC support across our business which is comprised of over 17,000 UK employees across 35 offices. The HC team acts as a liaison, advisor and facilitator between the business and specialist HC support teams, allowing PwC to operate effectively to meet its people agenda.

Responsibilities (may vary):

  • Undertake administration that can only be completed in the UK or not appropriate to outsource, effectively and accurately
  • Provide Project Support by undertaking User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Operational Readiness Testing (ORT)
  • Perform ongoing Quality Analysis
  • Produce reports for daily and monthly MI for HC
  • Grant access for HC systems and regularly monitor users to keep costs minimal
  • Identify Process Improvements
  • Works effectively and in collaboration with outsource provider to help them deliver a client-focused outcome
  • Brings curiosity and challenge so that processes and work practices are continuously improved.

Requirements:

You must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Enthusiasm and energy with a “can-do attitude”
  • Excellent communication skills – you must be able to flex your style to engage and communicate with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Confidence to ask questions and challenge ideas and/or activities
  • Excellent administrative skills - must be IT proficient
  • The ability to proactively manage your own time and prioritise your workload
  • The ability to work in a team and independently
  • A practical and sensible approach to problem solving, with the ability to think on your feet
  • Strong interpersonal skills, personable with the ability to deal with difficult situations.
  • You'll need to be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject
  • You'll need to be on four-year degree programme that features a sandwich placement element
