Graduate Trainee Management Consultant through Graduate Recruitment Bureau

Where: England - South East

Deadline: June 28, 2018

Type: Graduate

About the Company:

A niche Management Consultancy which works in partnership with their clients to deliver customised solutions that resolve their most significant performance challenges.

Projects range from customer experience transformation programmes to complex engineering environments. All of them involve changing how companies operate, behave and deliver their objectives.

About the Role:

The trainee management consultant programme lasts for around 15 months, but can be shortened to 12 months for those who really excel. It is recognised for turning bright, ambitious graduates into expert management consultants.

You will start life in business development in a front line, client facing role where you will be selling the benefits of business improvement to FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies. This is predominantly a phone-based role although you will also need to master effective e-mailing and LinkedIn approaches. Whilst building sales skills, you will be encouraged to write white papers and blogs, prepare marketing packs and give presentations during the training period. Continue to hit targets, and you will be out of the office on more consulting opportunities, workshops, training courses and shadowing sales visits with CEOs and MDs.

Starting off in business development allows you to get a real understanding of the business from the ground up, rather than be thrown straight onto a client site from day one. The sales skills you will develop in the training period will be a key asset when you start delivering the performance improvements and consulting with clients.

Once you have mastered the 12-15 months you will join other graduates who have been promoted into the role of management consultant.
