About the Role:

Working within Real Assets, you will be part of a wider team of approx. 150 people managing around £30bn, split between Property and Private Credit, which includes infrastructure.

Part of the role will involve using Excel to process vital financial information and identify trends and implications.

  • Real Estate:
    • This tangible asset class has grown extremely rapidly as the team has won new mandates and benefitted from fund inflows, accounting for almost three-quarters of the total assets. Your daily tasks could include analysis of key trends, presenting, information modelling and helping the team guide the strategy for its real estate portfolio.
  • Private Credit:
    • In this rapidly growing division, you will be part of a highly experience investment team focused on deploying capital in three main areas: corporate debt, infrastructure debt and real estate debt.
    • In the role, you will be involved in all aspects of the financing process, helping to analyze the credit and structure of financing opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in helping to determine investment viability and will be involved in financing execution, seeing investment through to completion. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the ongoing management of existing investments.
  • Real Assets Solutions:
    • In this very exciting role you will essentially be part of the business development and client capital teams, straddling both Real Estate and Private Credit. The role is varied and includes working across the business to deal with client queries as well as produce client presentations and reports which will involve an element of data analysis and the ability to write clearly and succinctly. The role will also include supporting the investment solutions team to design, build and launch new funds across Real Estate and Private Credit.

Requirements:

  • 2:1 (or a 2:2 with a masters) in any degree subject.
  • These roles require you to be highly numerate, with a B or above in GCSE maths. A-level Maths is helpful but not required.
  • You do not need to already have a deep understanding of the sectors, but an interest in investments, debt finance or property is key.
  • We’re looking for mature, well-rounded and enthusiastic individuals with attention to detail, fantastic interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and work hard.
  • Applicants should also be comfortable communicating with individuals across levels of seniority
  • Word and PowerPoint skills are also an advantage.
