About the Role:

This 2 year scheme is designed to develop your knowledge of Ocado while training you to become an expert in e-commerce. It encompasses a series of placements across a variety of retail areas including: trading, merchandising, marketing, supply chain and own brand product development.

Responsibilities vary greatly from the analytical to the creative but revolve around making profitable, innovative, customer-friendly decisions on the Ocado proposition: the products we sell, the service we deliver, the communications we address and the technology platforms we make available to customers.

Requirements:

  • Strong A-levels with BBB or equivalent and have, or be expecting, a 2:1 degree or above in any discipline
  • Some related work experience would be an advantage
  • An aptitude for understanding and handling data in order to make informed decisions
  • An aptitude for creativity
  • A hands-on attitude to learning
  • A good commercial awareness and a passion for retail
  • Ability to think for yourself and solve problems independently
  • A team player, combining your skills at building lasting relationships with taking a commercial approach in decision-making and negotiation
  • You must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme (24 months), be flexible to travel whilst on a placement and be fluent in English.
