About the Company:

A well-established business based in Sheffield is looking for a bright and ambitious graduate to join their team. This opportunity would especially suit an individual who has recently graduated and looking to start their career in a fast-paced finance environment.

About the Role:

The role is an integral part of the team where you will be having daily interaction with Senior Management across the Group. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Gaining a general understanding of Controlling, Reporting, Planning and Accounting.
  • Provide monthly cost reports and analysis and take any necessary actions or make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Preparation of finance information to present to the Financer Director and the rest of the team.
  • Building relationships with finance teams across the Group to ensure compliance with Group accounting policies
  • To ensure all collections – cheques, postal orders, card payments, direct debits, bank payments, payment files - are reconciled using advanced Excel.
  • Ad-hoc project work looking at driving through efficiencies in the Group

Requirements:

We are seeking a high calibre graduate for a unique and sought-after opportunity based in Sheffield. The specification for the role requires a candidate looking at an entry level role in Finance enabling them to get their foot in the door of a fast-paced and dynamic environment and ideally have a 2:1 degree or above.
