About the role

  • Trade settlements: Ensure trades settle in timely manner, link between front office, operations and clients.
  • Operations: Resolution of settlement issues for transactions with clients, brokers, dealers, banks, etc.
  • Trade reconciliation of positions on trading platforms and client trades; quantity, price, inventory, etc.
  • Allocating trades, trade capture, activity report
  • Process account opening forms and open accounts in Bloomberg. Act as liaison between front office and compliance.
  • Coordinating onboarding of any new platforms with the front office, IT, compliance and the third-party management team.
  • Assist in any upcoming regulation/projects including new portfolios or products ex. SFTR
  • Daily running of proprietary quantitative trading models to assist front office trading team.
  • Strong familiarity with Excel, VBA, Python. Knowledge of Bloomberg, Murex a plus.
  • Passionate about financial markets with a desire to engage and learn about the front office business from back to front inclusive of: Treasury, FX Forwards, IRD, Fixed Income, Deposits, Structured Notes, Equities.
  • Interest to liaise and aid our middle office on new business projects, risk reports, credit analysis, data management.
  • Requirement to become FCA registered within first 6 months of employment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of Capital Markets and Investment banking
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills (essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential)
  • Strong research skills
  • Strong ability to manage tasks, timelines, deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
