About the Role:

The Role: S&P Global Ratings 2019 CREDit Graduate Programme is a three-year training & development programme commencing in September 2019.

The Location: London

The Team/The Business: You will be part of a global team of analysts in one of our ratings analytical practices. We are looking for high achievers from a diverse pool of undergraduate & postgraduate institutions that are passionate about analytics and want to develop their career in a dynamic, high performing and multicultural team. We are looking for graduates who are able to work well within a team and can demonstrate exceptional learning agility, creativity and problem solving ability.

The Impact:

You will be responsible for conducting credit and recovery analysis related to a range of services provided to corporate, institutional and governmental clients. You will be part of a team that evaluates the overall credit worthiness of organizations and their ability to meet their financial obligations for traditional credit-based products as well as a variety of structured banking transactions. You will also support teams that evaluate collateral pools, credit risk, structural considerations, legal considerations, and the ability of securitization issuers to meet their obligations to pay timely interest and repay principal for a wide variety of structured finance asset types.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a minimum 2.1 or equivalent BA/BSc undergraduate degree by August 2019. Postgraduate students are also encouraged to apply.
  • Learning agility, Creativity, and Problem-solving ability
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Fluent command of English Language is essential and a 2nd European language is desirable.
  • The ability and the desire to learn to conduct your own analysis and research
  • The ability to work in a deal-driven, collaborative work environment is required
