About the Role:

The Aspen Graduate Program develops the next generation of diverse leaders, innovators, and progressive professionals. Every year we take on a number of graduates into different streams including Underwriting, Actuarial & Capital Modelling, Business Transformation, Compliance, Internal Audit and Finance. Our next Graduate Program will begin in September 2018 and will run for two years, during which our graduates will receive professional training and development opportunities, be fully sponsored and supported through their professional qualifications, provided with an enviable support network, and receive a competitive starting salary and benefits.

Our two-year Finance Graduate Program is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the finance department of a global insurance and reinsurance company based in the heart of the London market. You will gain exposure and experience in management accounts preparation, technical insurance accounting, tax preparation and internal audit.

As a Finance Graduate you'll rotate into different functions of the business allowing you to develop skills and abilities in a range of areas. In each rotation you will be provided with development and in-depth knowledge and become a key contributor to the deliverables and deadlines for each team.

Aspen is a Gold ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants - www.accaglobal.com/uk) Approved Employer in recognition of the support that we provide to our ACCA trainees working towards the ACCA Qualification. As a Finance Graduate we'll provide you with the support and funding necessary to become fully ACCA qualified.

Requirements:

We are open-minded about the type of degree you have and are looking for graduates who are highly numerate and are on track to achieve a 2:1 or above and have good GCSE and A/AS Level grades (300 UCAS points) or equivalent.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to quickly build relationships are crucial for success, as our roles are business-facing from day one. We are looking for candidates who are self-starters and are able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
