About the role:
The Thermo Fisher Scientific China Leadership Development Program provides a unique opportunity for high potential advanced degree graduates to develop the skills necessary for a career in a functional leadership role at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This is a two-year rotational program which provides broad experience in cross-functional opportunities, while allowing for exposure to the company’s core processes, technologies, and leaders. Rotations are determined through a combination of individual development needs and business priorities.
Additional learning opportunities round out the two year development program and include but not limited to: formal learning sessions, an Executive Mentor program, and business projects.
Requirements:
• Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in finance, marketing, operations, or HR
• Must be a self-starter, possess passion and curiosity, actively partners and influences on business decisions
• Experience in multinational manufacturing environment
• Ability to interact with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization
• Business understanding, data analysis, project management and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated history of driving businesses to improve processes and performance
• Fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin language
• Strong team and interpersonal communication skills and professional presence
• MBA (or relevant Master’s Degree) and 3+ years related work experience (life science, healthcare industry preferred)
