Things have moved on a bit. These days there are a few big retailers and less independent shops to sell the equipment. If the big retailers there are don't want your gear then you have no hope. Well we think we have got the solution. We design, manufacture and source the best outdoor gear and sell direct to you. We are a small company with big plans. We hope you like what we do.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to help us execute our buying and sales plans. You will place orders with suppliers around the world, track order status and coordinate the delivery of products into our warehouse including freight and customs clearance. As part of this role, you will monitor sales and stock and work within budgets whilst coordinating actions within open -to-buy.
In this role you will ensure Alpkit’s ethical code of conduct is maintained by our suppliers and that our actions are in line with our sustainability goals.
Can demonstrate a high attention to detail
An exceptional eye for detail and strong knowledge of Excel
Ideally you will currently working at Assistant Buyer Level or Experience of working in a fast-paced growing retail environment
