We are a social enterprise introducing young people to future tech. The help we offer to charities and non-profit organisations is invaluable. This includes design of learning programmes, staff training and funding assistance with some learning provisions.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone to complete a 10-week internship with us as a Business Development Manager.

As a social enterprise, AALFY has developed a mix of opportunities to meet the organisation's social mission and to remain sustainable in an unpredictable environment. As a small not for profit organisation- we're adaptable, resourceful and ambitious thus the ideal candidate would represent our values and culture to succeed.

The role in Business Development sits at the heart of our plans for 2019 and encompasses 2 elements; business development and relationship building. You will be reporting to the Managing Director and work closely with all external stakeholders for the Ar' City Tech festival and the Learn Create Sell programme.

Business development

Ar City

- Planning and supporting workshop events
- Manage and update the pipeline of opportunity
- Supporting on the development of social media campaigns
- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within interested organisations

Learn Create Sell (LCS)

- Widen the brand portfolio in existing stockists and deliver new and sustainable brand distribution in non-stockists
- Take responsibility for maximising the rate of sale, visibility and quality of all LCS brands.
- Deliver a passion for and champion The LCS concept both internally and externally via training, knowledge and education.

Relationship Building

- Perform email outreach for prospective supporters or clients
- Follow up on all enquiries
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders
