Hawthorn is a corporate & financial communications consultancy established in 2013 by John Evans and Ben Elliot. We work directly with CEO's and leadership teams to develop and convey their stories with accuracy and precision. We support young businesses through the early years of growth and development, as well as working alongside multi-national organisations during large scale and complex projects. In most cases Hawthorn is engaged to support specific commercial activities; this often includes scaling up or restructuring, launching new products or services, business development, raising investment or reacting to unexpected circumstances that require sensitive stakeholder management.

About the role

Hawthorn has an established programme for Analysts each of whom will be mentored by a dedicated line manager. Being an Analyst at Hawthorn means you will work with a diverse and specialist team of communications consultants, gaining experience across a range of sectors and communications disciplines including financial, corporate and public affairs; working with companies listed on a stock exchange, private companies and individuals.

Requirements

We look for intellectually ambitious, creative and enthusiastic individuals from a range of academic backgrounds with a deep interest in current affairs and the media landscape. Candidates must have a strong academic credentials, show excellent research and written skills and require meticulous attention to detail, with at least three to six months relevant experience. They should be team players.
