As a graduate, we know it can be difficult to navigate the working world once you leave university. To help you on your journey, you have access to careers support from the Management School and University after you graduate. There is also on-going support available for your business and start-up needs.
As a Management School Graduate, you have access to our School Careers Advisers as well as the University Careers Services.
We can support you after you graduate, so please get in touch with us if you need help with your career planning.
You can use your Career Connect account as a graduate to book a 30 minute appointment with a Careers Adviser or, if you find it difficult to visit us, send an email enquiry. Book an appointment and search opportunities by accessing your Career Connect account.
Through the University’s dedicated Entrepreneurship team, you can access a range of programmes and activities to help you solve real business challenges including Sandpit sessions and a Pre-accelerator programme.
Our friends at Business Sheffield can help with accessing Advisors to talk through business ideas, workshops and training sessions, networking and events and other skills to help you progress with your business.
Start-up Visa programme is one of the opportunities that has supported recent graduates from the international student community of the University. We recognise the value this programme has given in allowing overseas graduates to remain in the UK for two years and develop a business idea.
